J012 – Kitchen Hood Cleaning Service – Roseburg VAHCS – Department of Veterans Affairs
THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This is not a solicitation for bids, proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all qualified sources to perform a potential requirement. The responses received from interested contractors will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method.
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 20, is conducting market research to identify potential sources which can provide the following services:
TITLE: Kitchen Hood Cleaning Service – Roseburg VAHCS – Department of Veterans Affairs
SERVICES:
- The Contractor shall perform all scheduled cleaning in accordance with the latest edition of the NFPA 96 Standard for Ventilation Control and Fire Protection of Commercial Cooking Operations (current edition), and all local, state, and federal rules and procedures.
- The Contractor will provide all management, tools, supplies, equipment, and labor necessary to perform the proper cleaning of the Kitchen Ventilation Hoods and ancillary systems on the Roseburg VA Campus in a manner that will ensure continuous and safe operation of such systems and prevent any potential grease fire from spreading past the hood and ductwork.
SERVICE LOCATION:
The service is to be done on the Roseburg VA Campus, 913 NW Garden Valley Blvd., Roseburg, Oregon 97471. All the Commercial Kitchen Exhaust Systems are located in Building #71. The Canteen Exhaust System is in Room A103B and the five Main Kitchen Exhaust systems are in Room D108
NAICS ANTICIPATED: 561210 – Facilities Support Services, $47 million
TYPE OF CONTRACT ANTICIPATED: Firm Fixed Price
NOTES: Depending on the results of market research and socioeconomic set-aside decision, the appropriate limitation to subcontracting may be incorporated into resulting solicitation/contract.
