The purpose of this sources sought announcement is for market research to make appropriate acquisition decisions and to gain knowledge of potential businesses interested and capable of providing the services described below. The Northern Arizona VA Healthcare System (NAVAHCS) requested to purchase of 2 Zero Turn Riding Mower. The prospective contractor must be Brand Name or Equal to John Deere Z930M Z track: Salient Characteristics: Engine Horsepower greater than 24 horsepower Run on Gasoline Fuel Minimum 10-gallon gas tank I60 mowing deck Hydrostatic transmission drive 0-10 MPH speed Forced lubrication system with filter Twin Lever steering arms Have rollover protective structure for safety Able to operate at a 20-degree slope (without collection system attached) Two zero-turn units shall have a 60 mowing deck with rear discharge. Hydrostatic drive, with lever steering arms to facilitate maneuverability in tight areas. The Government will in no way be bound to this information if any solicitation is issued. The VA is mandated by Public Law 109-461 to consider a total set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses. However, if there are insufficient Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business responses, an alternate set-aside or full and open competition may be determined.
