FAR 52.232-18 Availability of Funds - "Funds are not presently available for this contract. The Government’s obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this contract and until the Contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer."
Moody AFB has a requirement for an AN/PRC-161 Battlefield Awareness and Targeting System-Dismounted ((BATS-D) P/N: 53108-3) radio "or equal," with a retrofit kit for a Joint Range Extension (JRE) Joint All Domain Gateway Router ((JAGR) P/N: 52160-TTRGPS-1). The BATS-D radio is a handheld radio that delivers real-time LINK16 communications to dismounted war fighters at the tactical edge. It can be vest-worn, hand held or mounted. The BATS-D specifically, is an SAIC) product that is made to fit a JRE JAGR. This equipment is joint certified, EMC tested, fielded across the services and CRYPTO MOD compliant. If "or equal," products are offered, clear evidence of retrofit capabilities to the JRE JAGR, CRYPTO MOD compliant, provide LINK16 capabilities, and Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) certified by the Navy-Marine Corps Spectrum Center (NMSC) outlined in "DODI 4650.01M Vol 1 enclosure 2 and Chapter 2."
