The Federal Aviation Administrationm Western Service, Northwest Mountain Region, is conducting a Market Survey to improve the Government's understanding of the current marketplace and to identify capable sources. Interested sources must respond with information to confirm evidence of their qualifications and capabilities. Responoses to this market survey will be used to determine if there is adequate competition to set the requirement aside for Socially and Economically Disadvantaged Businesses (SEDB/8(a)), Small Businesses, or full and open competition. This survey is being conducted in accordance with FAA Acquisition Management System (AMS) Section 3.2.1.2.1. This survey will support market research obtained from multiple sources and will be utilized for planning purposes only.
All intersted vendors are advised that the FAA will not pay for any information or any administrative costs incurred that are associated with any response received from industry in response to this Market Survey/rquet for Information. Therefore, any costs associated with the vendor's Market survey/Request for Information submissions will be solely at the interested vendor's expense.
GENERAL SCOPE OF WORK:
The purpose of this project is to provide Vegetation Control and grounds maintenance services at the Honolulu Control Facilitity (HCF) and Kauai SSC. The attached Scope of Work document outlines the requirements for these services at the FAA facilities below. The requirements will be listed in each individual site specifica Scope of Work within the document:

The contractor must furnish all supervision, labor, equipement, materials, supplies and tools rquired to maintain the lawns. Contractor must also provide transportation to and from work site for contractor personnel, equipmen, materials, supplies and tools required. All vehicles, mowing and spray equipment or other machines that are equipped with sparkplugs must be provided with appropriate radio frequency (RF) suppression devices. Dead weeds must be removed and properly disposed of. All refuse and rubbish, such as fallen trees, pruned tree limbs, shrubbery, cuttings and leaves resulting from the contractor's work must be removed from the FAA property and hauled away to a proper landfill.
