Do not provide a quote.  

The Defense Finance and Accounting Service, Indianapolis and Limestone, Maine locations (DFAS-IN and DFAS-LI) anticipate having a one-time requirement for 110 each Radios, one (1) Repeater, and two (2) Digital Base Station Radios.    

DFAS-IN anticipates a need for 80 radios; DFAS-LI anticipates a need for 30 radios—total 110 radios.  Radios at both locations will need reprogramming.  All items will be delivered to DFAS-Indianapolis.

1. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS—Minimum Required Technical Specifications

DFAS locations will require programming of applicable 400-480 Mhz 64 Channel Digital Radios.

 All items shall meet or exceed MIL-STD 810 (for DoD operational areas)  

 All items listed shall meet or exceed the following National Security Standards: 

     1) Secure enhanced Linux operating system

     2) TLS-PSK CPS/RM—radio repeater authentication

     3)  Extended range direct mode

       

 All items listed must pass all of the following MIL-STD Tests:

1.  810C

2. 810D

3.  810E

4.  810F

5. 810G

6. 810H

 

DFAS- Limestone:

Quantity thirty (30) 400-480 Mhz 64 Channel Digital Radios

with radio programming included. 

1. Handheld Radios
   1. UHF Frequency 400-490MHz
      1. Digital.
      2. At least 12 channels
   2. Channel spacing 12.5kHz
   3. Size and weight
      1. Size in inches 5x3x2 maximum dimension
      2. Weight with battery 12 oz, approximate maximum
   4. Battery life:  Minimum 20 hour battery life.
   5. Meets all FCC guidelines.
   6. Unit includes the following.
      1. Radio single unit charger
      2. Whip antenna not to exceed 5 inches.
      3. All programming provided by DFAS. 
         1. Minimum 10 channels

DFAS-Indianapolis:

 One (1) SLR Repeater 403-470 MHz 1-50W, including installation and programming.     

Repeater

1. 1. Unit to include the following.
      1. Repeater
      2. UHF Duplexer
      3. All jumper and duplexer cables
      4. Power supply
      5. Battery back up
   2. UHF Frequency 400-490MHz
      1. Digital. 
   3. Channel spacing 12.5kHz
   4. Size--must be a rackable unit.
   5. Watts 50 rf output
   6. Meets all FCC guidelines.
   7. All programming provided by DFAS.

    Eighty (80) 400-480 Mhz 64 Channel Digital Radio with radio programming included. 

     Handheld Radios

 Two (2) 403-470 25W 16 Channel Digital Base Station Radio with power supply and switches. 

 Base station unit

1. 1. Setup includes Radio, Power supply, all cables, magnet antenna, and assembly of base station.
   2. UHF Frequency 400-490MHz
      1. Digital. 
      2. At least 12 channels

1. 1. Channel spacing 12.5kHz

1. 1. Size and weight
      1. Size 8x8x12 with power supply, maximum
      2. Weight maximum 10 lbs.

1. 1. Watts 24-45 output

All items shall be delivered to DFAS-Indianapolis, DFAS-IN, 8899 E 56th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46226-6536 within 30 days ARO.
