SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE.

This sources sought notice is for informational and planning purposes only. This is strictly market research and the government will not entertain questions concerning this market research.
The intent of this notice is to determine sources, if any, that can successfully provide preventative maintenance and repair services for an Almaco SPC-40 combine with genuine Almaco parts; and the socioeconomic status of those sources. Results of this notice will help determine if the upcoming requirement is a single source or can be set aside for small business.
The requirement includes, at a minimum, bushings/bearings, switches, solenoids, electric clutch relocation, hydraulic couplings for heads, fuel tank service, maintenance on the grain head. The work is located in Tifton, Georgia. The anticipated award will be a firm fixed price or time & materials type.
Vendors having technical capabilities necessary to meet the needs of the described requirement are invited to provide a capabilities statement via email. The capability statement must include the following:
1) Company name and point of contact information
2) UEI number
3) Small business size/certification (to include 8(a),HUBZone, SDVOSB, etc.)
4) Brief explanation of recent and relevant work (past 3 years)
Responses must be emailed to amanda.somerville@usda.gov and must be received no later than 2pm (MT) on August 16, 2024. Response is strictly voluntary; no reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this notice or any follow-up information requests.
