Clarification of issues identified during the site visit:-All vacated equipment (flanges, pipes, etc.) mounted on the roof and/or the parapet walls observed during the site visit will be removed by the government prior to notice to proceed.-Existing utilities and conduits crossing the finished roof shall be supported in accordance with industry standards. The steel propane line crossing the roof may be temporarily removed during the roof replacement process, existing pipe unions are installed in the line to facilitate its temporary removal. Other Clarifications to Tuttle Creek Administration Building Roof Replacement. The US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Tuttle Creek Lake Project, has a need for roof replacement construction. The existing roof is a 20 plus year old EPDM roof. The Contractor must perform the removal of the roof system, along with the original chimney. Roof must be replaced with a complete EPDM (ethylene propylene diene terpolymer) sloped roofing system. In addition, new guttering and downspouts will replace the existing. The Contractor shall provide all required equipment, labor, supervision, and material. Project is broken into a Base CLIN and a single Optional CLIN. Optional CLIN may or may not be exercised as part of the Contract. This requirement is 100% Small Business set-aside. In accordance with FAR Part 36.204 the estimated magnitude of this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. The estimated period of performance for completion of the awarded contract is 180 days from the Notice to Proceed (NTP). There will be a site visit planned for this solicitation.
