The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers - St. Paul District requires a Contractor to supply and provide all labor, supervision and materials necessary to remove the existing oil burning furnace and oil pump in the Upper Shop of Building 10 at Fountain City Service Base, dispose of the existing unit off site, supply and install one tank stand mounted waste-oil powered furnace rated at 350,000 BTU/hr (+/- 25,000 BTU/hr) with burner, oil pump, blower, thermostat and all other controls required. Contractor shall remove all existing 8 inch exhaust venting and supply and install new vertical exhaust flumes; cap and remove 2 inch exterior oil tank vent, replace 2 inch cap plug on tank, seal and waterproof exterior wall, replace 4.5 inch plug in tank with Emergency Vent Cap (supplied by contractor).
All Work Shall Be Completed by 31 October, 2024.
This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotes (RFQ) under the authority of FAR Part 13 - Simplified Acquisition Procedure.
This solicitation is 100% set-aside for Small Business under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 238990 - All Other Specialty Trade Contractors, with an SBA Size Standard of $19,000,000.
The estimated Magnitude of Constructtion is less than $25,000.
