This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued.
The USDA, Agricultural Research Service, Southeast Area requires audio visual upgrades for auditoriums and conference room located in Athens, Georgia.
In accordance with the procedures in FAR Part 5 and 12, this Request for Quotes (RFQ), number 12405B24Q0448, is available through electronic commerce via the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov. This RFQ is being issued as a total set aside for small business under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 334310 Audio and Video Equipment Manufacturing. The applicable small business size standard is 750 employees. The resulting purchase order will be a firm-fixed price type.
The resulting award will include one (1) line item incorporating the attached Statement of Work (SOW).
Quotes are due no later than Friday, September 6, 2024, 4:00pm ET. All responsible sources who submit a timely quote will be considered for award. Quotes must be submitted electronically to amanda.somerville@usda.gov; no faxed or hard copy quotes are allowed.
In accordance with FAR 52.212-3(b)(2) vendors must be registered and active in SAM at the time of quote to be considered for award. SAM is a Federal Government owned and operated FREE website located at www.sam.gov.

(a) The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: technical acceptability and price.

(c) A written notice of award or acceptance of an offer, mailed or otherwise furnished to the successful offeror within the time for acceptance specified in the offer, shall result in a binding contract without further action by either party. Before the offer’s specified expiration time, the Government may accept an offer (or part of an offer), whether or not there are negotiations after its receipt, unless a written notice of withdrawal is received before award.

(FEB 1998).Offerors are urged and expected to inspect the equipment on which maintenance or repairs are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance, to the extent that the information is reasonably obtainable. In no event shall failure to inspect the equipment constitute grounds for a claim after contract award. Offerors are invited to inspect the auditorium at 10am (ET) on Thursday, August 29, 2024. Interested vendors must email amanda.somerville@usda.gov no later than 2pm (ET) on Tuesday, August 27, 2024, to be authorized for the inspection visit.
