This is a SOURCES SOUGHT notice to determine the capabilities of small business firms for a small business set-aside. If your firm is a Small Business, certified HUBZone, 8A, Woman- Owned Small Business or Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Business and you are interested in this project please respond appropriately.
This notice does not constitute a solicitation announcement, nor does it restrict the Government to an ultimate acquisition approach. No solicitation or technical scope of services is available at this time. The Government will use the responses to this SOURCES SOUGHT notice to make acquisition decisions. Small businesses are strongly encouraged to review this SOURCES SOUGHT and submit according to the directions in this notice.
Contract duration is estimated to be 460 days, NAICS code is 237990, Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction, which has a size standard of $45 million in average annual receipts. Award of a Task Order on a Large Business Multiple Award Task Order Contract is being considered. This contract will have a period of performance of one (1) year six (3) months and have a cost estimate range between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000.
The contractor must remove the miter gates to install anchor arms, must field verify all dimensions, geometry, and fit ups prior to fabrication and installation, must field verify all existing conditions relevant to his work prior to construction, The contractor may install upper closure stored at Green River Lock 1 using the government furnished lifting device to gain access to removing all 4 gates at once. The contractor must lift the miter gates to replace the anchor arms, must place the miter gates back onto the pintle balls with divers, must perform up to 100 feet of weld repairs on the miter gates in the base bid, must maintain continuity of access for the lock staff to cross over the chamber at all times by the upper closure or set of miter gates, must paint any repairs made with government provided paint. The only government provided materials for this contract are for the anchor arm assemblies.

The following requests are designed to apprise the US Army Corps of Engineers, Louisville District, of any prospective small business construction project execution capabilities. Please provide your response to the following. The submission is limited to 12 total pages of information.
Responses should include:
1. Identification and verification of the company's small business status.
2. Contractor's Unique Identifier Number and CAGE Code(s).
3. Documentation from the firm's bonding company showing current single and aggregate performance and payment bond limits.
4. Descriptions of Experience - Interested firms must provide specification sheets for all equipment to determine if the firm can provide the requested equipment.
