The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers - New England District is issuing a Solicitation Notice for Chemical Vegetation Control Services, Barre Falls Dam, Barre, Hubbardston, Oakham, MA.
THE WORK CONSISTS OF: Provide all materials, labor, and equipment for performing all operations necessary to complete the following work:
a. Provide all labor, materials, and equipment to spray chemical treatment on woody vegetation in the spillway area / channel.
b. Spray woody vegetation at spillway and vegetation on small roadway dike by picnic area.
c. Provide all labor, materials, and equipment to spot spray chemical treatment to control invasive plants along roadsides, wood line (invasive species to include primarily Bittersweet, Multiflora rose, poison ivy, autumn olive, Buckthorn, and other non-native species).
d. Apply Chemical Treatment to control invasive species in the following areas of concern:
i. Coldbrook Roadsides and field edges near Overlook Parking Lot – autumn olive, buckthorn, and other non-native species.
ii. Project Office area – poison ivy.
iii. Route 122 area / Caldwell Road – poison ivy and knotweed.
This procurement is set-aside for small business vendors. The applicable NAICS code is 561730 with a Small Business Size Standard of $9.5 Million.
ALL VENDORS MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE REGISTRATION IN SAM.GOV AT THE TIME OF SUBMISSION IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED. ANY VENDOR THAT DOES NOT HAVE AN ACTIVE SAM.GOV REGISTRATION WILL BE REJECTED AS NON RESPONSIVE.
