Salient Characteristics for F-117 Jet Engine Trailer Mover
Rationale of Requirement
We require a Propulsion Flight requires a method to move F-117 jet engines and trailers without the use of a bobtail, to positions trailers for maintenance and engines for transport to the flight line. This mover should have the ability to tow a minimum of 30,000 pounds, utilize counterweights over the tires to assist with traction control on a concrete floor, a swiveling pintle hook attachment, and a caster on the front of the electric trailer mover to aid in turning.
Jet Engine Trailer Mover Requirements
The requires for the pusher are below. The vendor must meet or exceed these salient functional and physical requirements, without this piece of equipment the Propulsion Flight has no way to move engines or trailers if all bobtails within the MXS are being utilized.
