This is a sources sought notice for a commercial services requirement to assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition strategy by requesting industry input. Your company name and UEI number A brief statement of your company s capability specific to this requirement for a maximum of two (2) pages. Form responses concerning capability will not be considered. If your company is a SDVOSB/VOSB, your capability statement should address VAAR 852.219-75 (JAN 2023) (DEVIATION) s limitations on subcontracting and how your company can provide the requirement within the 50% restriction in the referenced clause. (Optional) Any questions you have about the requirement to help the Government ensure sufficient information is provided in a RFQ for this requirement. (Optional) Any additional input from industry your company feels is best interest to provide the Government. Requirement Synopsis: The Boise VAMC located in Boise, Idaho has a requirement for maintenance services for 99 individually automatic door operators that require annual preventative maintenance across the campus. A detailed list of equipment will be provided in an RFQ. The minimum requirement is to provide the annual maintenance to include inspection of the operator, floor mats, motion detector actuation and presence detection safety, time delay, decals, guide rails, lock stiles, door panels glass, gaskets, seals, glass protection bars, pivots, door frames, pivot guards, and check electrical systems and provide a checklist for each door showing problems found and corrected using the door identifier and barcode. In the event a condition is identified that compromises the door, operator, or components, the contractor will notify the FMS department of the issue and provide options addressing best practice and/or minimum level of further maintenance required outside the scope of this requirement. Maintenance will need to meet the manufacturer s recommendations for service for the equipment being serviced. The contractor will divide the doors into four groups/areas, addressing one group/area each in the months of October, January, April, and July. This requirement contemplates a one-year base performance period and four option years. The anticipated NAICS code is 561210, and the anticipated Product Service Code (PSC) is J059. Companies providing responses containing the mandatory information requested (no form responses) will be notified if a RFQ is issued that they are eligible to submit a quote under.
