This SOW defines the requirement for the Contractor to engineer, furnish, install and test (EFI&T) 12-strand single mode (SM) fiber optic cable (FOC) from Information Transfer Building (ITB) 230 to Bldg. 208 at Columbus AFB, MS.
The Contractor shall provide all equipment, tools, materials, supplies, transportation, labor, supervision, management, and other incidentals necessary to meet the requirements as stated in the SOW. The contractor shall comply with the current TIA telecommunication installation and testing commercial standard and base installation standards. All equipment, supplies, and materials provided shall be new and not refurbished.
This is only a proposed solution. The contractor may make any recommendations pertaining to the accomplishment of this requirement in their proposal.
There is not a scheduled site visit, however if contractor would like one, they may request one by contacting the POC. Contractors/Offers must complete CUI Training Slides then sign and return the "MFR Contractor CUI Training Acknowledgment for Solicitations" to gain access to drawings and other associated CUI documentation. Send singed MFR to the POC and accesses to the locked documents in SAM.gov will be granted.
A filled out Combined Synopsis/Solicitation, Price Schedules,and Technical Capability statements shall be submitted via email to lauren.rodgers.5@us.af.mil and CCed to ranie.boukzam@us.af.mil no later than 10:00am CDT 9 September 2024 in order to be considered timely. Please do not re-sent/copy and past the SOW. Questions are due no later than 1:00 pm CDT 4 Septmber 2024. The Government is not obligated to answer any questions submitted after the deadline. It is the vendor's responsibility to monitor the solicitation posted herein for amendments issued in reference to this requirement. Any potential amendments will be posted in the same fashion as the solicitation. All contractors who provide goods/services to the DoD must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). Failure to comply with SAM registration will deem the offeror ineligble for award.
