This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested in response to this notice and a written solicitation will NOT be issued. This solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). Submission of written quotes will only be accepted via email. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2022-04. This procurement is set aside for 100% Small Business. The associated NAICS code is 238290 - Other Building Equipment Contractors with a small business size standard of $22M.
This requirement is for the replacement of a steel rolling door located at the U.S. Department of Energy, Office of Scientific and Technical Information facility in accordance with the attached Statement of Work (Attachment 1). The applicable DBA Wage Grade Determinations for this project can be found in Attachment 2.
Potential contractors must attend a site visit scheduled for Wednesday, 9/4/24, at 10:00 a.m. EST, in order to view the existing rolling door. Please contact the government POC listed below to arrange entry to the facility for the site visit. All visitors must be a U.S. Citizen and possess a picture ID.
Delivery: Work must begin within 90 Days After Notice to Proceed. Once work starts, installation must be completed within two days, one day is preferred. All work must be completed by 12/31/24.
