This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
The solicitation number is 75D301-24-Q-78378 being issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ).
This notice incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2024-05.

Description: The Government desires to purchase β-Glucuronidase from Escherichia coli, Type IX-A (1,000,000 units) Enzyme for the Division of Laboratory Services within NCEH/CDC. The brand name Sigma Aldrich β-glucuronidase is used to break the glucuronide bonds present in urine sample where analytes in interest (TSNAs) and is a vital factor in the hydrolysis of TSNA analysis. The line items required are included as Attachment 1 to this RFQ.

Quote Submission: Quotes shall be sent electronically via e-mail to Brittany Hardy at ulb6@cdc.gov All quotes shall include one (1) separate copy of each of the items listed below. Submission of a quote that does not contain all items requested below may result in elimination from consideration of award. Offerors must submit each item of quote in a separate electronic attachment clearly identified as described below. Offerors are responsible for including sufficient details to permit a complete and accurate evaluation of each quote.
Basis for Award: The Government intends to award a single, firm fixed price purchase order to a responsible vendor submitting a firm fixed price quotation for the brand-name specified products in compliance with the products herein and Attachment 1 – Line Items.
Award will be made to the lowest price technically acceptable quotation.
Technical – Offeror shall provide all the required brand-name products specified in the solicitation - Sigma Aldrich β-Glucuronidase from Escherichia coli, Type IX-A (1,000,000 units) Enzyme. Offeror shall be authorized to sell Sigma Aldrich β-Glucuronidase from Escherichia coli, Type IX-A (1,000,000 units) Enzyme Catalog #G7396-1MU. The Sigma Aldrich β-Glucuronidase from Escherichia coli, Type IX-A (1,000,000 units) Enzyme is specifically designed to work in conjunction with CDC’s pH 6.4 Phosphate buffer to break the glucuronide bonds present in the sample where analytes in interest exists to produce the highest level of analytic recovery. Sigma Aldrich β-glucuronidase is the essential component utilized to start this reaction and is a vital factor in the hydrolysis steps of TSNA analysis. The Sigma Aldrich β-Glucuronidase from Escherichia coli, Type IX-A (1,000,000 units) Enzyme requested is needed to perform these analytics which consistently allows the lab to have a high yield recovery ranging from 100 – 105% to meet the agency requirements.
Price – Quotations shall be firm fixed price.
Volume 1: Pricing for each of the line items detailed in Attachment 1 – Line Items, to include a total price. Volume 1 shall not exceed ten (10) pages in length, minimum 12-point font. Page limitation includes any drawings, charts, pictures, etc., and excludes section dividers, table of contents, figures/tables, glossary of terms and cross-referencing indices and resumes - all of which are not considered content pages.

CDC0_G018 Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer (Feb 2018)
(a) The Government shall use electronic funds transfer to the maximum extent possible when making payments under this contract. FAR 52.232-33, Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer –System for Award Management, in Section I, requires the contractor to designate in writing a financial institution for receipt of electronic funds transfer payments.
(b) In the case that EFT information is not within the System of Award Management, FAR 52.232-34 requires mandatory submission of Contractor’s EFT information directly to the office designated in this contract to receive that information (hereafter: “designated office”); see below. The contractor shall submit the EFT information within the form titled “ACH Vendor/Miscellaneous Payment Enrollment Form” to the address indicated below. Note: The form is either attached to this contract (see Section J, List of Attachments) or may be obtained by contacting the Contracting Officer or the CDC Office of Financial Resources at 678-475-4510.
(c) In cases where the contractor has previously provided such information, i.e., pursuant to a prior contract/order, and been enrolled in the program, the form is not required unless the designated financial institution has changed.
