Response 2: The government will be providing the flooring, the thresholds, and the quarter rounds.

Response 3: There is not a site visit scheduled.
Question 4: What is the budget for this project?
Response 4: The government's budget is source selection information and will not be released.
Question 5: Has this work been done before? If yes, how much was paid for such work in the past?
Response 5: This work has been performed for other government agencies. Offerors are expected to provide quotes that are fair and reasonable for the scope of the work to be performed.
Question 6: Is the flooring glued down and would it need to be the same way when reinstalled?
Response 6: The linoleum flooring provided by the government snaps together and will not need to be glued. The new thresholds may need to be glued. The existing flooring is not glued down.
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 and FAR 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.

Installation of Laminate Flooring
Services shall be completed at USCG Sector Juneau, Downtown Building, 1st Floor, Juneau, AK 99801, within 60 days of award. Service Contract Labor Standards are applicable. Wage Determination 2015-5685 Revision 23, dated 22 Jul 2024 will be an attachment to the award.
FAR 52.212-1 and FAR 52.212-2 apply to this acquisition. Evaluation criteria is lowest price technically acceptable. Where Federal Acquisition Regulation clause language is inconsistent with FAR 13.004, Legal Effect of Quotations, that language is hereby tailored in accordance with FAR 12.302 to be consistent with a request for quotations. This tailoring includes, but is not limited to, the following: In accordance with FAR 13.004, a quotation is not an offer, and any clause provision to the contrary is hereby modified to be consistent with FAR 13.004. Where the word "offer/offeror" or a derivative of that word appears, it is changed to "quote/quoter" or a derivative of that word.
Quotes are due by 6 Sep 2024 at 1:00 p.m., Alaska time, to Robbin Kessler at robbin.m.kessler@uscg.mil to be considered for award. If it is in the best interest of the government, quotes submitted after the due date may be accepted. Quotes shall remain valid for 30 days unless otherwise expressly stated on the quote. Quotes shall list two points of contact for the offeror, including name, phone number, and email address.
