The Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PHNSY & IMF) is issuing a request for proposal (RFP) to Curtiss-Wright Electro-Mechanical Corporation, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, for a Firm Fixed-Price contract to perform refurbishment services on the rotational deployment mechanism (RDM) unit for a Virginia Class submarine.
In accordance with DFARS PGI 206.302-1, a sources sought notice, N32253-24-079, was posted to the Government Point of Entry (GPE), SAM.gov, from 1 AUG 2024 to 7 AUG 2024, to satisfy this requirement. The Government received no capable sources indicating capability in performing the requirement by the posted due date.
The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 336611 Ship Building and Repair with a size standard of 1,300 employees. The Product Service Code is J020 Maintenance, Repair, Rebuilding of Equipment-Ship and Marine Equipment.

The solicitation is prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 15, as supplemented with additional information included with this notice.
