**** This is NOT a solicitation**** A Sources Sought Notice is a government market research tool to determine if there are two (2) or more capable businesses or Small Businesses that can perform the requirements of a planned contract. This notice is not a Request for Quote (RFQ), Request for Proposal (RFP) or Invitation for Bid (IFB). It’s used by the government in developing Acquisition Strategies.
The purpose of this Sources Sought is to determine if a small business can perform the work required. We encourage all small business concerns in all socioeconomic categories (i.e. Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB), 8(a), Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Economically Disadvantaged Women-Owned Small Business (EDWOSB), and Women-Owned Small Business concerns (WOSB), to identify their capabilities in meeting the requirement.
The Government requests that interested parties respond to this notice in writing including details of your company’s ability to deliver Commercial Portable toilets, hand wash stations, and removal of greywater material. Additionally, please provide the following information:
- Company Name and Address
- Cage Code
- Company business size by NAICS code (562991)
- Small Business Type(s), if applicable
- Point of Contact for questions and/or clarifications
- Telephone Number and email address
- Web Page URL (if applicable)
- Teaming Partners (if applicable)
- Provide any recommendations and/or concerns.
Do not submit pricing information in response to this Sources Sought.
Responses to this Sources Sought should not exceed 5 pages in length.
A pre-solicitation notice is expected to be published in the near future and will provide more information concerning the actual solicitation.
- We expect to award a single award Blanket Purchase Agreement between 3 and 5 years in length encompassing both Camp Atterbury and Muscatatuck Urban training Center combined.
- Camp Atterbury has a need for 60 to 70 “permanent” porta johns that will be rented on a yearly basis. Vendor should expect to submit a seperate quote for the 60 to 70 units that are rented on a yearly basis.
- MUTC has between 7 and 22 “permanent” porta john units that will be rented on a yearly basis as well. Vendor should expect to include the permanent units at MUTC as a part of the permanent Camp Atterbury units.
- Both Camp Atterbury and MUTC will need a separate quote to accommodate “a la carte” rentals of portable latrines and hand wash stations at both Camp Atterbury and MUTC. Individual training units often rent portable latrine and hand wash stations daily or weekly depending on the training length.
- Camp Atterbury and MUTC often host a yearly large military training event entitled “Guardian Response”. Previous Guardian Response needs at Camp Atterbury consisted of approximately 194 portable toilets and 36 hand wash stations between 5 and 28 days with the majority at 28 days. Previous Guadian Responses exercise needs at MUTC location consisted of approximately 422 portable toilets and 143 hand wash stations.
