The U.S. Government is currently in need of approximately 10,000 square feet of specialized seed storage space for Wildland Fire Seed Storage in support of the Bureau of Land Management Emergency Stabilization and Rehabilitation (ESR) and fuels program. In making the determination to provide the overall best value to the Government, the Government will consider, among other things, the availability of space that can potentially satisfy the Government’s requirements, necessary space alterations/tenant improvements, rent costs, and proximity to BLM operations.
The Government seeks to lease the following space:
STATE: Nevada
CITY: Winnemucca
DELINEATED AREA: Starting at Interstate 80 going east along Westmoreland Rd. to Grass Valley Rd. From there, going North along the road to Winnemucca Blvd heading East until intersecting with Interstate 80 and then West until it connects with the Starting Point.
MIN. SF (ABOA): 5,000
MAXIMUM SF (ABOA): 15,000
SPACE TYPE: Specialized Storage
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- The facility would need accessibility for transport trucks pulling a 53-foot trailer (ingress, egress, turn radius)
- Accessibility for a standard size forklift; either a trailer dock or a forklift ramp to load/unload delivery trucks
- 8:00AM to 5:00PM access is required. 24-hour access is preferred.
- Space must be for sole Government occupancy. Colocations will not be considered.
FULL TERM: 10 years
FIRM TERM: 2 years
OPTION TERM: Not applicable.
Subleases will not be considered. A Government standard lease document will be used for the transaction. Buildings and parking offered must meet all current Federal, GSA/PBS, State and local codes and regulations including but not limited to fire and life safety, ABAAS, OSHA, and seismic protection.
Offered space shall be in a building within the delineated area described as Starting at Interstate 80 going east along Westmoreland Rd. to Grass Valley Rd. From there, going North along the road to Winnemucca Blvd heading East until intersecting with Interstate 80 and then West until it connects with the Starting Point.
Properties located in a 100-year floodplain will not be considered. All services, supplies, utilities and required tenant improvements are to be provided as part of the rental consideration (see below). The lease term shall be for 10 years, 2 years firm, with completion of any tenant improvements and occupancy on or before October 1, 2024.

Expressions of interest should include the following information, at a minimum:

- Rentable square footage (RSF) and rate information. Include the following:
- rate per RSF,
- specified services included in rate,
- utilities included in rate,
- parking spaces included in rate, and,
- tenant improvement allowance amount included

- If available on site, include the amount of available parking spaces and the cost per parking space.
