INDUSTRY QUESTION: Are the HVAC units’ package (all components contained in one unit controlling both the
7.5-Ton & the 10-Ton) or split (each HVAC unit will have separate controlling module units)?
GOVERNMENT ANSWER: The units are package. Primary heat is from SCR reheat on the VAV boxes.
Secondary heat provided by a heat bank in the RTUs.
INDUSTRY QUESTION: Could you provide any available drawings or plans related to the scope of work for this
project? Access to these drawings will aid us in better understanding the existing layout, mechanical requirements,
and any specific installation considerations that we must account for in our quote. We need to know voltages, vav
box sizes, type of control system, size of ERV’s, and locations.

1. DESCRIPTION: This is a Total Small Business Set-Aside for the purchase of one (1) 10 ton HVAC and one (1) 7.5 ton HVAC equivalent to existing units.
2. TYPE OF CONTRACT: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Nashville District anticipates awarding a firm fixed-price supply contract for the furnishing of all equipment, labor, materials, and transportation required for the fabrication and delivery of one (1) 10 ton HVAC, one (1) 7.5 ton HVAC, one (1) - PC, Controller, Software, Hardware, two (2) Carbon Dioxide Detectors, two (2) HVAC units, two (2) Energy Recovery Ventilators (ERV), thirteen (13) Temperature Sensors/Thermostats and sixteen (16) Variable Air Volume Controllers (VAV) at Cordell Hull in Carthage, Tennessee.
3. NAICS CODE: 333415 Air-Conditioning and Warm Air Heating Equipment and Commercial and Industrial Refrigeration Equipment Manufacturing- Size Standard – 1,250 Employees
4. BASIS FOR SELECTION OF AWARD: Award shall be made to the lowest priced offeror who is responsive and responsible. Quotes must meet or exceed the requirements in the Statement of Work. The Government may confer with offerors to clarify quote details. The Government also reserves the right to not award.
5. PLACE OF DELIVERY: Delivery shall be coordinated/scheduled at least fourteen (14) calendar days in advance.

6. DELIVERY DATE: The completion date for this contract is 60 calendar days from the date of contract award.

11. NIST SP 800-171 DoD ASSESSMENT
In accordance with DFARS 204.7302, Contractors and subcontractors are required to provide adequate security on all covered contractor information systems. Contractors are required to implement National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Special Publication (SP) 800-171 by inclusion of clause at 252.204-7012, Safeguarding Covered Defense Information and Cyber incident Reporting, are required at time of award to have at least a Basic NIST SP 800-171 DoD Assessment that is current (i.e., not more than 3 years old unless a lesser time is specified in the solicitation).
SPRS provides storage and access to the NIST SP 800-171 assessment scoring information.
