The Pittsburgh Health and Safety Technology Center of the Mine Safety and Health Administration is seeking the services of a Contractor to send two asher systems back to the Anatech facility located in Sparks, Nevada to have the chamber systems upgraded from four individual pyrex chambers to a single metal chamber. This system will also require some modifications to update its electronics system. After the service is provided, the Contractor will verify that the system is operating within required specifications for the service to be considered complete.
The scope for this effort is to upgrade two low temperature ashing systems for the MSHA (PSHTC) Analytical and Laboratory Services Division (ALSD). The package shall include replacement of the old style pyrex chambers with one single metal chamber, along with necessary upgrades to the system controllers if necessary.
