It is built to improve efficiency and productivity. The system will allow for quick and easy switching between and up to 50 production lines, with saved line speeds, photo sensor distances, and message delays. It will be used within the laboratory for marking and coding applications. In using the system, it will assist with creating high-quality, fast-drying marks on various surfaces, including packaging materials, glass, plastics, and metals. The LINX 8900 Inkjet printer is known to be a user-friendly system in comparison to other printers on the market. It is designed to minimize downtime and simplify maintenance tasks, allowing laboratorians to focus on other critical tasks. LINX 8900 Inkjet printer has an ability to connect remotely. This will allow for laboratorians to monitor and control the printer from anywhere, at any time. In doing so, this will help with enhancing flexibility and help laboratorians an ability to stay in control of the printer.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to award a firm-fixed-price contract to the lowest price, technically acceptable offeror for the following requirement. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2024-05 (05/22/2024).
This acquisition is under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 423450 Medical, Dental, Scientific and Hospital Equipment and Supplies Merchant Wholesalers and small business size standard of 200 employees. A Firm-Fixed Price purchase order will be issued in writing to the successful offeror.
