Amendment 0501: The purpose of this amendment is correct Amendment 05, and clarify that we are now given to understand that there was a miscommuncation between the vendor and our customer and the quote under Document ID 7601 is not valid. Instead, the best thing I can think of in this case is to let them know that the customer is Zachary Ely.
Amendment 07: The purpose of this amendment is to specify that the Government does not do any form of advanced payments. There will only be one payment made, and that will be at the end after the Government has received the entire product and all services rendered as part of any subsequent contract. Any quote being submitted that requests either advanced payments, half payment up front and the rest after, or any percentage prior to completion, or any combination thereof that requests anything other than payment in full after the contract terms are met, will be considered an unacceptable offer.
Amendment 06: The purpose of this amendment is to specify that the basis for contract award shall be Lowest Price Technically Acceptable.
Amendment 05: The purpose of this amendment is to provide the Quote ID from Meridian the customer received in the event you are working with Meridian to support the requirement and they need to know that as a reminder of who the customer was and the locker system they built for us.
- The Quote ID from Meridian was Document 7601, and the Customer ID was C2318.
Amendment 04: The purpose of this amendment is to add a clarification:
- The Quantity is One (1) locker system. The second attachment with the Salient characteristics specifies the dimensions that the locker system shall meet.
Amendment 03: The purpose of this amendment is to correct the delivery date from 01 Sep 2024 to 25 October 2024, roughly a 30 day after anticipated award date. If this delivery date cannot be met, please specify in your quote what can be met.
Amendment 02: The purpose of this amendment is to formally edit the solicitation SF 1449 document to reflect the extension in due date, and also add a suspense for questions.
All questions regarding the requirement during the solicitation period shall be submitted to both the Contract Specialist and Contracting Officer listed by Monday, 16 September 2024 at 1600 Anchorage Alaska time. Failure to submit questions by this suspense may result in the Government being unable to incorporate the responses to your question into any final solicitation amendment and no extensions on questions and/or due date for quotes will be granted from here on.
Amendment 01: The purpose of this amendment is to extend the due date from 12 September 2024 out to 20 September 2024. The solicitation SF 1449 still shows a due date of 12 September 2024, and will be updated in the next revision of this posting, but due to time I am posting it here to the description first for now.
The 732d Air Mobility Squadron at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson needs a new locker system for their tool inventory. Their desired outcome is to acquire a locker system that both safeguards their tools through the latest advancements in security, but also incorporates the most current technological flexibilities available in the market.
Reference Attachment 1 for specific brand name product specifications that all submitting products, whether the brand name or an equal product, must meet.
The items in Attachment 1 from Meridian Kiosks are strictly provided as examples of everything included in the system, and the Government has no knowledge of the specifics for any component. This is a brand name or equal requirement and if your company chooses to offer a different brand you bear the responsibility for ensuring the product you offer, and all associated components meet the need. The Government will only take the product specifications and capabilities statements received and conduct a verification of the offered system, and associated components, to ensure the needs are met. Therefore, any locker system that is validated to meet the needs shall be considered acceptable and we welcome all interested suppliers in submitting products for
consideration.
The responsibility falls on the vendor submitting the offer to outline each aspect of their offered product and how it is equal to the brand name product if they choose to submit a different brand. The Government reserves the right to consider the quotation as an unresponsive offer if the vendor fails to include this detail in their quotation. The Government will take other submitted brands under consideration but reserves the right for any clarifications and /or discussions necessary to determine if the product equals the Brand Name product after reviewing the requested details.
Finally, all quotes submitted shall include delivery as FOB Destination. The Government will not accept quotations that specify FOB Origin, and quotations that do will be considered unacceptable.
