Source Sought Synopsis:
The Purpose of this notice of intent is to notify the commercial market of the Government's intent to make an award to Xybix Systems, Inc for design, to fit the existing workspace and meet the requirements of the existing sit-to-stand dual-console workstations.
More specifically the U.S Coast Guard is in need of:
design, construct and install three curved dual-surface consoles, sit-to-stand adjustable workstations and associated cabinets with work surfaces to match. Vendor must design to fit the existing workspace and meet the requirements of the existing sit-to-stand dual-console workstations.
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for services prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation WILL NOT be issued. The solicitation number is 70Z02924QNEWO000020. This combined synopsis constitutes a solicitation and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2007.
This acquisition is Small Business Set Aside. The NAICS is 337127. The contract type will be a firm fixed price purchase order. The government proposes to solicit from the attached scope of work.
Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Clauses and Department of Labor Wage Rates for Services are included in this order and are applicable.
Vendors doing business with the Coast Guard must be registered or be willing to register with the System Award Management at www.SAM.gov.

This requirement will be made on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR PART 6.302-1 (a) (c) (ii). The requirement will be fulfilled by the delivery of the above-mentioned items.
This notice of intent to award should not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a formal Request for Proposal (RFP), Request for Quotation (RFQ) or contract.
Any information provided to the Government is strictly voluntary. Responses to the notice of intent to award will not serve as proposals, bids or offers which could be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract.
As such, the Government will not cover any cost for any information or inquiry submitted as a result of this request. Please include the name of the point of contract, e-mail address and telephone number should the Government have questions regarding individual responses.
