The contract objective is to award a fixed price contract with a base year and four (4) one-year option periods to support the needs of the Food and Drug Administration’s Center for Veterinary Medicine’s Veterinary Laboratory Investigation and Response Network’s (Vet-LIRN) Proficiency Exercise Program and consumer complaint follow up.
The purpose of the contract is to obtain services of a contractor that will assist the Vet-LIRN program office and network laboratories during Proficiency Tests (PTs), Interlaboratory Comparison Exercises (ICEs), and consumer complaint follow up related to animal food and drug issues to support the Center for Veterinary’s mission of protecting human and animal health. Vet-LIRN needs a contractor to provide diagnostic samples that will be used for diagnostic test method development and validation, consumer complaint follow-up testing, proficiency tests (PT), and interlaboratory comparison exercises (ICE).
Offeror must be a Vet-LIRN member laboratory and accredited by AAVLD.
