This sources sought notice is for commercial items at Moody Air Force Base, Georgia and is meant to determine sources available for the acquisition of specialized camouflage netting and poncho kits as detailed below:
1. Field Expedient Camo Kits
- 8 ft by 100 ft camouflage netting in an enclosed backpack/rucksack.
-Must provide protection against Ultra-violet, Visual, Shortwave-Infrared, Near-Infrared, Longwave-Infrared, and Thermal Imagers.
-Reversable with different color patterns on each side.
- Come in the following camouflage color patterns: Light Woodland on one side and Desert on the other, Dark Woodland on one side and Alpine on the other, Desert on one side and Urban on the other.
-Qty: 4 of each color pattern. Each kit shall hold one of the camo nets. 12 total.
2. Camouflage Poncho Systems
-Must be reversable with different colors per side.
-Have ability to link together to make a larger system.
-Must provide protection against Ultra-violet, Visual, Shortwave-Infrared, Near-Infrared, Longwave-Infrared, and Thermal Imagers.
- Come in the following camouflage color patterns: Light Woodland on one side and Desert on the other, Dark Woodland on one side and Alpine on the other, Desert on one side and Urban on the other.
-Have stake/assembly kits to hold the fabric up around personnel or hide sites.
-Qty: 6 of each color pattern. 18 total.
This is a SOURCES SOUGHT announcement only. The purpose of this notice is to conduct market research and obtain information from qualified businesses. This is not a request for bids, quotes, or proposals.
All responsible sources must submit a capability statement addressing its capabilities, capacity, and location which shall be considered by the agency. This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to ultimately award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach.
All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary; the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government.
Interested parties submitting a response to this inquiry must include the following information: capability statement, name, and address of company; NAICS Code; DUNS number: business size (large, small, VOSB, or SDVOSB); identify applicable socioeconomic categories and any pertinent information which demonstrates the firm's ability to meet the above requirement.
