The chemicals utilized for the dental washer need to include only the following: Prolystica Enzymatic Cleaner, Prolystica neutral detergent & Prolystica non-silicone lubricant. Each of these chemicals are specific to what is needed to wash and clean our instruments that are being used in any type of patient care environment.
Additionally, washers need to have the capability to have access from 2 different sides as a pass through washer. The process of this includes the dirty side where instruments are initially placed and then washed prior to taking them out on the clean side.
The dental washer must have a safety measure to where if one side is open, the other side will not open which is a requirement as this reduces the likelihood of cross-contamination between the dirty side and the clean side of this department.
Additionally manufacturer needs to fund biomedical training/repair training/service class for proper maintenance on equipment.
