SCOPE OF CONTRACT
The scope of this project is to replace existing windows in all offices and work areas in 7 buildings to reduce energy
use during heating and cooling of the offices and workspaces within each building. Many of the windows are the
existing windows from when the buildings were constructed between the 1960’s and 1980’s.
The scope of the work for this project is to replace existing windows in 7 buildings to increase energy efficiency and
reduce energy consumption for heating and cooling these workspaces. All the buildings with wood construction are
2x4 framing.
The list of the buildings and the number and type of existing windows to be replaced are identified in the attachment
“Statement of Work CDA Nursery Window Replacement”.
PROJECT LOCATION
This project is in the Idaho Panhandle National Forest, 3600 Nursery Road Coeur D’alene Idaho.
MAGNITUDE OF CONSTRUCTION PROJECT
In accordance with FAR Part 23.204 (b) Between $25,000 and $100,000.
SITE VISIT
Per FAR Part 52.236-3 “Site Investigation and Conditions Affecting the Work”, contractor is encouraged and
expected to visit the site. No official Site Visit shall be performed. Contractors may to visit the site at their
discretion. Ensure you are familiar with inclement weather as this may hinder access to certain roads.
PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE
Work on the site shall commence no earlier than October 25, 2024, and proceed in accordance with the contractor’s
approved work schedule and run continuously till the end of the project no later than October 24, 2025.
BONDING:
Bonding: In accordance with FAR Part 28.102-1, a Payment Bond or Irrevocable Letter of Credit (ILC)
for 100% of the contract price are required for offers over $35,000 but not to exceed $150,000. Bonds
shall be provided within 10 days of award
