Request for Information (RFI)
The Coast Guard Force Readiness Command (FORCECOM) is issuing this request for information (RFI) for market research purposes to identify parties having an interest in providing all labor, equipment, tools, management, and supervision necessary to provide athletic club/fitness center facilities for Coast Guard personnel working and around the downtown area of Norfolk, VA. A Statement of Work (SOW) is attached to this Sources Sought Notice; the Statement of Work is subject to revisions at the sole discretion of the Government. Interested parties are expected to review this Notice and the Statement of Work to familiarize themselves with the requirement.
The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement may be 71394 (Fitness and Recreation Sports Centers) and the size standard is $7.5 Million.
There is no solicitation at this time. This RFI does not constitute a request for proposals; submission of any information in response to this request is purely voluntary; the government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred nor is obligated to respond.
If your organization has an athletic club/fitness center facilities for Coast Guard personnel working and around the downtown area of Norfolk, VA, please provide the following information:

- Size and type of ownership for the organization
- Does your company currently have existing government-wide acquisition contracts or other strategically sourced contracts for these types of requirements that the USCG can order off? If yes, please provide contract number, what agency it is with, and agency point of contact information.
- Corporate affiliations, potential joint venture partners, teaming partners, and/or major subcontractor information must be provided with your information.
- Commercial market information and practices applicable to this supply.
- A brief description of the amenities and equipment offered by the fitness facility.
- A positive statement of your intent to submit a quote as a prime contractor if a solicitation issued as a result of this RFI.
- Submission Instructions: Interested parties who consider themselves qualified to perform the requirements are invited to submit a response to this RFI by 10 October 2024 by 1500. All responses and questions regarding this RFI must be emailed to Lisa Daum at Lisa.A.Daum@uscg.mil.
