Portsmouth Naval Shipyard seeks to identify sources capable of providing the leasing of temporary dehumidifcation equipment for the Portmouth Naval Shipyard located in Kittery, ME in accordance with the attached statement of work.

SCOPE:
Portsmouth Naval Shipyard (PNSY) is seeking to lease a Desiccant Climate Controlled Unit (DCCU) system to provide dry and tempered process air for conditioning various spaces used for industrial applications. The system must include multiple DCCU’s, a chiller, chilled water pump, chilled water hose manifolds, hose assemblies as well as the associated onboard controls to operate both the chilled water system and DCCU’s. The intent of the chiller, pump, hose assemblies, manifolds and ancillary components is to establish a temporary chilled water system which serves all of the DCCU’s pre-cooling and post-cooling coils. All equipment conveying air to and from the industrial space must be pre-wired with remote E-Stop capability in order to provide a means to secure airflow in the event of an emergency response. Each DCCU and Chiller must be frame/skid mounted and meet the lifting & handling requirements as defined in the specification.

The market research information collected resulting from this Sources Sought Notice will be used to help the Government to identify qualified sources capable of accomplishing the required work outlined in the attached Statement of Work under NAICS Code 532490. All interested parties are encouraged to respond. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
In accordance with FAR 15.201(e), responses to this notice are NOT deemed offers, and CANNOT be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract.
Only those Responders that are able to meet the following criteria should respond to this Sources Sought Notice:
1. Entity is capable of meeting ALL specifications outlined in the attached DRAFT document.
2. Entity has an active CAGE Code, and current registration in the System for Award Management (www.SAM.gov).
3. Entity does NOT appear on the Excluded Parties List
