STATEMENT OF WORK
- Order, receive and deliver to the jobsite the following equipment:
- One (1) Trenton 3.5-HP air-cooled condenser rated at 11,800 BTUH, Model TEZA035L8HT3DF.
- One (1) Trenton evaporator rated at 11,300 BTUH, Model TPLP211LES2DR8ESP.
- Lock and tag out the energy source to both the evaporator and condenser.
- Disconnect and reconnect the evaporator condensate drain line.
- Disconnect and reconnect the Type L copper refrigerant piping. New copper piping and fittings will be utilized to tie the new equipment into the existing line sets.
- Disconnect and reconnect the high-voltage wiring to the condenser and evaporator. New fused disconnects will be installed for both the evaporator and condenser.
- Remove the existing evaporator and condenser.
- Move the new condenser onto the roof.
- Install the replacement evaporator.
- Pressurize, leak check, and evacuate the circuit per EPA guidelines.
- Charge the system with virgin 448A refrigerant to OEM recommended sub-cooling guidelines.
- Insulate the affected ACR piping, and fittings and the condensate drain line.
- Start up and verify operation of the system.
- Clean up working area and return to prework conditions.
CHECK-IN REQUIREMENTS:
Contractor and all Contractor’s Service Personnel shall check in and out with Engineering in plant prior to performing and upon completion of all required service. This information is required to contact mechanics in case of an emergency during regular hours.
SAFETY REQUIREMENTS:
Contractor shall ensure all tools and equipment are always secured.
- Tools and equipment must be removed from open areas or stored in secured location during breaks, lunch, and/or at the end of each workday.
- All debris must be removed from the facility upon completion of service each day.
All personnel are required to wear approved masks when entering or working in any of patient care areas in the facilities buildings.
- They are to be non-surgical type masks, no cloth, or homemade masks (this is for staff and Contractors).
- This mask is to be always worn. Any personnel caught without wearing an approved mask will be escorted out of the facility.
- Masks are to be worn properly and should fully always cover the nose and mouth.
- Contractor shall ensure proper signage, barriers, and/or blockage of service area is provided where applicable.
The Joseph Maxwell Cleland AVAMC is a smoke free campus. Smoking is not permitted indoors or on campus (except at the Regional Office location), to include parking lots, at any time. All smoking shall be conducted at designated smoking areas.
