AMENDMENT 01
HI,
The following Addendum is being issued for the subject Request for Quotation: 351074 2-Axis Engineered Table
Answers to questions:
1. We see an overall specification for level of the table but do not see a flatness specification for the table. Is there one? ANSWER: The flatness of the breadboard is sufficient for our application
2. Is the requirement for an actual breadboard to be fastened to the top or is the intent of the ¼-20 tapped holes on 1” centers machined directly into the top meant to be breadboard like? ANSWER: A Newport or similar breadboard would be fastened to the top
3. We see the stepper motors and limit switches are to be wired into connectors. No mention is made of a control system. Is control of the table by others or should a controller be quoted? ANSWER: No controller required, just the motor stage assemblies.
This Addendum modifies the Request for Quotation and must be acknowledged. Failure to acknowledge all addenda could make your proposal non-responsive. Please confirm that the submitted proposal is not changed because of this addendum. If proposal sent is revised because of this, please submit the revised proposal.
The following changes are hereby made to the appropriate documents contained the above-mentioned Request for Quotation (RFQ). All other terms and conditions of the RFQ remain the same.
Thank you very much.

- Topped with a breadboard of 48 x 43 x 4.3”, with 1/4-20 mounting holes on a 1” grid. Level within 5 mrad.
- Overall footprint of the table not to exceed 80 x 43”. Max height not to exceed 8” higher than breadboard, with nothing overhanging
- Motorized vertical axis with 235mm travel to lift the instrument from 448.5 to 683.5mm from the floor using 4 vertical stages driven by a single NEMA34 stepper motor using a drivetrain. 1.3um step resolution.
- Motorized horizontal axis with 150 mm travel (along breadboard 43” dim) from a NEMA23 stepper motor, and an additional 2 slide rails for weight distribution and precise motion. 4 um step resolution.
- Both axes stages require end of travel limit switches on both ends
- Motors and limit switches wired to D-sub connectors
