Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division (NSWCCD) is seeking to identify potential vendors capable of accomplishing the following tasks:
- to supplement NSWCCD Code 661 Shock Engineering Services for the Columbia Class and Virginia Class shock qualification programs.
Specification/SOW:
A Performance Work Statement (PWS) is attached to this sources sought to assist vendors and manufacturers in understanding the NSWCCD testing requirements mentioned above.
A solicitation date is not currently available. If a solicitation is issued, it will be announced on the Contract Opportunities website at https://sam.gov/content/home at a later date. All interested parties must respond to the solicitation announcement separately from this announcement. It is the responsibility of the potential offeror to monitor this site for additional information pertaining to this requirement. Responses to this sources sought will be used by NSWCCD to influence acquisition decisions which may include: use of sole source or competitive bid procurement process; small business set-aside (small business, large business, or small disadvantaged business), and which acquisition procedures are best suited for this procurement.
If your company/organization has the potential capacity to perform these services, please provide the following information:
- Company name, address, email address, Web site address, telephone number, and type of ownership for the organization.
- Point of contact name, telephone number, and email address.
- Size of business - Large Business, Small Business, Small Disadvantage, 8(a), Hubzone, Woman-owned and/or Veteran-owned. If significant subcontracting or teaming is anticipated in order to deliver technical capability, organization should address the administrative and management structure of such arrangements.
- Contractor and Government Entity (CAGE) Code.
- Company capability statement to provide one or more of the specified environmental testing services and any possible exceptions to the requirements in the PWS.
- Rough order of magnitude quote for the cost of services.
- Expected test availability for FY25.
NOTE: Only information provided in the written Capability Statement shall be considered.
