Lawrence Livermore National Security, LLC (hereinafter called “LLNS”) is seeking sources for the performance of construction in support of LLNS’ requirements.
The objective of the project is to build a new ~23,564 gsf ground-up two-story fitness and amenity Employee Center building and associated site improvements. The work includes, but is not limited to grading, earthwork, site utilities, paving and drive aisles, concrete foundation and slab, CMU and framed exterior walls, insulated metal panel wall system, storefront and curtain wall window system with insulated low-E glass, structural steel roof framing and columns, single-ply roofing system over rigid insulation over metal decking, elevator, stairs, stud framed interior walls and gypsum board, tile work, lockers, framed and suspended interior ceiling systems, rooftop mechanical system, plumbing system, and electrical power and lighting systems.
Additionally, the project will feature a steel and aluminum trellis system, landscaping, site furnishings, planting, irrigation, and bio-swales.
The new Employee Center, building 460, will bring many opportunities for meeting/event space, fitness, employee engagement, networking, and work-life programs at the Livermore Campus.
LLNS is seeking General Contractors who have successfully completed ground-up construction of buildings of similar size and function (gyms, training centers, meeting/community spaces, or university commons), experience with CMU / Architectural Metal and Insulated Metal Panel buildings, worked at Federal or similar institutions and can meet LLNS prequalification requirements.
