This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE (SSN) and REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) only. Responses to this notice will be used for information and planning purposes as part of market research. No quotes are being requested or accepted at this time with this notice. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this notice. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Erie VA Medical Center located at 135 East 38th Street, Erie, PA 16504 has a requirement for a replacement evaporator coil and condensing unit to be furnished and installed so the dietetic walk-in cooler can be repaired and restored to normal functionality. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code being considered for this procurement is 238220, Plumbing, Heating, and Air Conditioning Contractors. The Small Business Size Standard is $19 Million. Information is being requested from industry to determine the following: Does the draft SOW (Attachment 1) provide enough information to describe the required equipment, and is enough information provided for offerors to submit an accurate quote? What additional information could be included which would provide a better understanding of the Erie VAMC s need and result in higher quality quotes, if applicable?
