If there are no responses to this notice, a determination by the Government not to compete based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government to sole source to the brand name manufacturer. Objective: To find qualified and certified contractors with the capability to provide the following: The Contractor shall accept and receive the Department of Veterans Affairs, Alexandria VA HealthCare System Non-Hazardous Solid Waste by providing Landfill disposal for the Non-Hazardous Solid Waste that will consist of compacted and non-compacted waste from compactors, roll-offs boxes, and open-top roll-off containers from the Department of Veterans Affairs, Alexandria VA HealthCare System, 2495 Shreveport Hwy 71, Pineville, LA, 71360 location in accordance with local, state, and federal laws for disposed. The Non-Hazardous Solid Waste will consist of Cardboard, Plastic, Paper, Glass, Scrap Metal, etc., and miscellaneous mixed trash. Place of Performance: Alexandria VA HealthCare System, 2495 Shreveport Hwy 71, Pineville, LA, 71360 Period of Performance: Base plus four (4) option year contract.
