Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this RFI. SOURCES SOUGHT DESCRIPTION This is NOT a solicitation announcement. This is a RFI only. The purpose of this RFI is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification relative to NAICS 325413 (size standard of 1250 Employees). Responses to this RFI will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After review of the responses to this RFI, a solicitation announcement may be published. Responses to this RFI synopsis are not considered adequate responses for a solicitation announcement. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), VISN 22 Network Contracting Office, is seeking sources that can provide Immunology Testing Supplies that at a minimum meets the following salient characteristics with a brand name or equal product for the VA Tucson Healthcare System: The reagents, consumables and supplies must be approved for use with Bio-Rad s, BioPlex 2200. All supplies, reagents, controls, calibration materials, disposables, and any consumable parts necessary for analyzer operation, must be Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved. The quality control results generated from all tests performed with BioPlex 2200 must be compatible with Unity Real Time software. The vendor must generate and provide monthly evaluations with the following reports: Laboratory Performance Overview Laboratory Comparison Report Laboratory Histogram To secure continuity between lots of reagents and consumables the vendor should be able to directly sequester reagents and consumables from the lots currently being used. The vendor must directly distribute all requested products no more than 2 days after receipt or order (ARO).
