The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Region 8 is issuing this sources-sought to conduct market research and identify interested sources that possess the capability of meeting the requirements listed below.
This requirement is for Transportation Services to provide an employee shuttle in support of responders working DR-4842-Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe, in the state of South Dakota.
FEMA intends to use the shuttle to transport workers from their lodging in Rapid City, South Dakota to the reservation in Eagle Butte, South Dakota and back each day.
As an integral part of the FEMA security team, the Contractor shall provide and maintain all management, supervision, manpower, material, training, equipment, supplies, licenses, permits, certificates, insurance, pre- employment screenings, reports, and files, and shall plan, schedule, coordinate and ensure effective performance necessary to accomplish transportation services. The Contractor is entirely responsible for timely obtaining and adhering to the individual state and city / municipality licensing and permits requirements without assistance from the Federal Government.
The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 485410 – School and Employee Bus Transportation, with a size standard of $30M. This requirement is anticipated to be 100% set aside for small businesses.
This is a Sources Sought notice. This is NOT a request for proposals. No solicitation is available. Based on the results of this Sources Sought notice, this requirement may be set aside for local small businesses within the declared disaster area for DR-4842-CRST.
