The purpose of this sources sought announcement is for market research to make appropriate acquisition decisions and to gain knowledge of potential qualified Small Businesses interested and capable of providing the services described below.
The information gained from this market research will help the National Institutes (NIH), Clinical Center, Department of Laboratory Medicine plan for its acquisition strategy.

The National Institutes of Health, Clinical Center, Department of Laboratory Medicine has a requirement for a contractor to provide Roche Cobas® 6000 Reagents, Consumables and Preventative Maintenance Services.
The Department of Laboratory Medicine, Immunoassay Section has a continued need for Roche reagents, consumables, and preventative maintenance services. The Roche Cobas 6000 System can only use Roche proprietary reagents and consumables. The Roche Cobas 6000 is an excellent robust instrument providing reliable results and performance along with an excellent maintenance service record. The large test menu provides state of the art laboratory testing necessary to support the Clinical Center for patient care and research testing providing high volume needs as well as rapid turnaround times for clinical testing. The Department of Laboratory Medicine, Immunoassay Section owns one (1) Roche Cobas® 6000 system used to perform forty (40) chemistry and immunoassay tests for the monitoring of patient care, diagnosis of various diseases, and research protocols. Some of the tests includes: The core test menu consists of ACE, Free Fatty Acids, Cancer Antigen 15-3, Cancer Antigen 19-9, C-Peptide, Insulin, Osteocalcin, Parathyroid Hormone, Rubella IgG, Toxoplasma IgG, Pro-BNP, CKMB, Cystatin-C, SARS-CoV-2 anti-N, SARS-CoV-2 anti-S, Albumin, Alkaline Phosphatase, Alanine Transaminase, Amylase, Aspartate Aminotransferase, Blood Urea Nitrogen, Direct Bilirubin, Calcium, Chloride, Cholesterol, Creatine Kinase, Creatinine, Carbon Dioxide, Glucose, Lactate Dehydrogenase, Magnesium, Potassium, Sodium, Phosphorus, Total Bilirubin, Total Protein, Triglycerides, Uric Acid, Serum Indices.
Period of Performance: 02/01/2025 to 01/31/2026.

Reagents and consumables will be delivered on an as needed Basis. Preventative maintenance and repair services will be performed by an authorized and trained service technician in accordance with the original manufacturer recommendations.
