Sources Sought Notice: Elevator Preventive Maintenance and Repair Contract-Beckley Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) This is a Sources Sought Notice; it is not a Request for Quotes or Proposals. The Beckley VAMC is seeking sources to provide inspection, maintenance, repair, and related services for eight (8) passenger elevators, one (1) freight elevator, and one (1) cart lift. Services will include: Furnishing all necessary labor, materials, tools, and equipment to maintain elevator systems at optimal performance levels as per manufacturer specifications and applicable industry standards. Conducting routine and preventative maintenance, including all adjustments, testing, and part replacements. Performing periodic safety tests and inspections in compliance with ASME A17.1, A17.2, and A17.3 standards. Maintaining logs and providing documentation of all services, inspections, and tests to the designated Contracting Officer's Representative (COR). Responding to service calls and ensuring timely corrective actions. The services will be performed at Beckley VAMC, WV. Qualification for elevator mechanics: All work must be performed by qualified elevator mechanics. Mechanics must possess valid certifications from recognized programs such as NEIEP or CET through NAEC. Mechanics must have at least 4 years of recent experience within the last 6 years in the maintenance and repair of the types of elevators specified. All necessary licenses and permits to perform elevator services must be obtained prior to commencing work. Contractors must demonstrate compliance with applicable safety and regulatory standards, including OSHA and EPA requirements. The anticipated date of a solicitation is Jan 15th, 2025, with an expected period of performance starting April 1st 2025, March 31st, 2026, using NAICS CODE 561210, Facilities Support Services, size $47 million Vendors will not receive formal notification or feedback on any information submitted in this Sources Sought Notice. All future proposed submissions and solicitations requirements solicited on a Government Point of Entry (GPE) will be evaluated independently of any information submitted in response to this Sources Sought Notice.
