1.3 The purpose of this Sources Sought is to conduct market research to determine if responsible sources exist, to assist in determning if this effort can be competitive.
1.4 The proposed North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 336413, which has a corresponding size standard of 1,250 employees. The Government will use this information to determine the best acquisition strategy for this procurement.
1.5 The Government is interested in all small or large business concerns. The Government requests that interested parties respond to this notice if applicable and identify your business status to the identified NAICS Code.

Program Details: The Government anticipates issuing a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) contract under limited sources competition. This proposed requirement is limited to Meggitt Aircraft Braking Systems (cage code 0B9R9) and Aircraft Wheels and Brake, LLC. (cage code 33269). The Government does not own the data or the rights to the data needed to purchase this part from additional sources. It has been determined to be uneconomical to buy the data or rights to the data. It is uneconimical to reverse engineer the part. Suppliers will ned to have or obtain the technical data from these sources, Meggitt Aircraft or Aircraft Wheel and Brake.
