This is a Sources Sought notice for domestically manufactured products only. This is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. Per the Buy American Act and Executive Order 14005, the National Institutes of Allergy & Infectious Disease (NIAID) is seeking information for domestically manufactured products only, Per the requirements under the Buy American Act and requirements relating to Executive Order 14005 entitled: “Ensuring the Future is Made in All of America by All of America’s Workers”, in the event that a nonavailability waiver request submitted through the Made in America Office (MIAO)’s Digital Waiver Portal is required." Respondents must certify in capabilities statement that products are manufactured in the United States.
The purpose of this notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all U.S manufactured products that are equal to the following product:
Automated Robot to move and schedule readings of Mabtech-specific assay plates associated with an existing Mabtech reader
Specifications:
The objective is to supply the automated solution equipment for the VIP to support clinical trial endpoint testing. This instrument must be equipped to be equivalent to an Orbitor RS2 Bundle with 3 Random Access Hotels. Required are an Orbitor RS2 Automation Bundle (RS2 Robot), Momentum Scheduling Software, Integration for up to 3 Instruments, and including 3 Random Access Plate Hotels, and Installation and Training.
Applications:
The equipment must perform T-cell Mabtech assays for functional readouts of clinical trial endpoints. The VIP requires the need to automate the transfer of assay plates and scheduling of assay plates on an existing Mabtech IRIS reader. The Orbitor RS2 Microplate robot has an innovative bi-directional telescoping arm that functions through a 360-degree workspace with barcode reader integration and assay plate de-lidding capability. The RS2 robot is compatible with Momentum Scheduling and integration software that Mabtech has communicated is the only previously used software for automated scheduling on their IRIS reader. These requirements, specifications and applications must be met for this requirement.
Capability Statement/Information Sought
All capable vendors should respond with a brief capability statement demonstrating an equal product that is manufactured in the United States by December 16, 2024, by 5:00 PM EST. Capabilities statement must also include the following information: 1) organization name, address, point of contact, email address, website address, telephone number, UE ID# with an active SAM.gov registration, and a tailored capability statements addressing the particulars of this effort, with appropriate documentation supporting claims of capability.
Submission Instructions
Interested businesses who consider themselves qualified to provide the above-listed items are invited to submit a response to this Sources Sought Notice by December 16, 2024 at 5:00 PM EST. All responses under this Sources Sought Notice must be submitted via the NIAID electronic Simplified Acquisition Submission System (eSASS) website at https://esass.nih.gov. All vendors must register in the eSASS system to submit their documentation. Instructions on how to register /submit documents are included on the website. All responses received by the closing date of this synopsis will be considered by the Government.
