Alaskan Satellite Space Segment
The purpose of this Amendment is as follows:
1. Update Section L.3.1 Proposal Submission (a) , and Solicitation, Offer and Award (SOA) from block #8:- The proposal response due date has been extended to 2:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST) by February 04, 2025.
2. Attachment J-1 Alaskan Satellite Space Segment ASTI Site Information has been renamed to Attachment J-1 Appendix A.
3. Attachment J-1 Appendix A, ASTI Site Location information is updated to reflect "N" for Dual Satellite Access for Oklahoma City, OK.
4. Attachment J-1 Alaskan Satellite Space Segment Technical Specification, Spec 1.2.1.5 is revised.
5. Section L.3.2, Table L-1, is updated. Offerors should submit additional information for the pricing narrative in PDF format, with a maximum page limit of 5.
6. Section M.5.1 FACTOR 1: TECHNICAL – Technical Proposal Evaluation language is revised.
7. Section M.7 FACTOR 3: PRICE language is revised in its entirety.
8. The AMS Clauses for Section G.6, H.1, I.1, I.2, K.1, K.2, and M.1 have been updated. Please refer to the PDF document titled “Updated AMS Clauses” included with this Amendment One (1) for details.
9. To provide FAA responses to offerors' questions. Please refer to the PDF document titled “FAA Responses” included with this Amendment One (1) for details.
Updated SIR Sections M, L, Attachment J-1 Appendix A, and Attachment J-1 Alaskan Satellite Space Segment Technical Specification are included with this Amendment One (1)
Offerors must acknowledge receipt of this Amendment with their proposal submission; failure to do so may result in the proposal being ineligible from consideration.
The Government will not be liable for any costs associated with the submittal of a response to this SIR.
All other terms and conditions of the solicitation remain unchanged.

End of Amendment 0001 Description
Provide space segment (i.e., transponders) for the Alaskan Satellite Telecommunications Infrastructure (ASTI), formerly Alaskan NAS Inter-facility Communications System (ANICS). The ASTI program provides inter-facility communications to primarily support the FAA Air Traffic Control (ATC) mission between remote and hub facilities located in Alaska; with additional remote locations in Cape Blanco OR (5S6), Oklahoma City (OKC) OK, Anadyr1 (DYR) Russia, and expected additional sites within the NAS in the future.
