Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this RFI. SOURCES SOUGHT/RFI DESCRIPTION This is NOT a solicitation announcement. This is a Sources Sought Notice / RFI only. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice / RFI is to gain information about potential qualified sources and their size classification relative to NAICS 339113 (size standard of 800 Employees). Responses to this Sources Sought Notice / RFI will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After review of the responses to this Sources Sought Notice / RFI, further RFIs and/or a solicitation or other announcements may be published. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking sources capable of providing Virtual Reality UVC LED disinfection system and storage cart equivalent to Cleanbox Omniclean. STATEMENT OF WORK GENERAL: VA Phoenix Healthcare System located at 650 E Indian School Rd. Phoenix AZ, 85012 is looking for Virtual Reality UVC LED disinfection system and storage cart equivalent to Cleanbox Omniclean with following required salient characteristics. Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Services (Recreational Therapy) has been actively growing Virtual Reality options throughout the facility. Therefore, the service line is seeking to purchase self-contained carts to safely secure and store headsets, decontaminate the devices, and easily transport the equipment around as needed. The needed carts will be primarily used in outpatient areas as well as inpatient units, for cleaning and storing of VR headsets used in patients trials. This cart will not only help to secure the headsets in locking cabinets but will ensure the headsets are properly cleaned between patient use. SCOPE: VA Prescott Healthcare System Logistics Department is looking to establish a Firm Fixed-Price contract to purchase three Virtual Reality UVC LED disinfection system and storage cart equivalent to Cleanbox Omniclean. The contractor is required to provide brand name or equal equipment that meets or exceed the physical, functional, and performance of the listed salient characteristics in this section. SALIENT CHARACTERSITICS: UVC LED disinfection system and storage cart must have the following physical salient characteristics: Must be able to charge, store, and decontaminate. Must have the ability to sanitize/decontaminate at a minimum of 99%, without emitting heat or using mercury. Must have wheels to be easily transported from unit to unit. Wheels must be able to lock in place, to avoid movement during treatment. Must be able to sanitize without causing damage to plastics and materials. Decontamination compartment must be large enough to place a VR headset within the device. Must have a secure compartment to store a minimum of 4 VR headsets. Must use standard wall plugs for charging. Must have the ability to charge items when not plugged in. Must come with a battery pack. Must be medical grade UVC LED. WARRANTY OF EQUIPMENT: Government requirement for standard manufacturer industry warranty term. The government does not accept extended warranties, which require advance payment. The list of VR UVC LED disinfection system and storage cart characteristics is intended to be descriptive, not restrictive, of the supplies/services that are required. If your company is interested and capable of providing the required supplies/services, please provide the information indicated below. Incomplete responses to the questions below will not be accepted. (14) Does your proposed equipment have FDA clearance? Please specify what FDA clearance(s) have been obtained. (15) Does your organization offer a leasing solution? Please elaborate. (16) Does your company have a Federal Supply Schedule (FSS) GSA/NAC/SAC/BPA/NASA SEWP or any other Federal Government contract? If so, please provide the contract number(s).
