Purpose:
This notice is issued solely for information and planning purposes – it does not constitute a Request for Quote (RFQ)/Invitation for Bid (IFB)/Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFQ, IFB or RFP in the future. Objective:
The intent of this announcement is to identify qualified and experienced sources to provide certified Instructors who can teach, facilitate training and certify 15-45 personnel on avalanche safety and back country snowmobiling specifically in accordance with American Institute for Avalanche Research and Education (AIARE) Rec 1 and 2.
All goal and objectives for this requirement will need to be conducted in a manner that is transferable to military special operations, which consists of but not limited to, conducting mobility training in low light/ No-light conditions while utilizing night vision devices and black-out running mode over snowy terrain.
Period of Performance: 10 February 2025 to 10 April 2025.
Place of Performance: Whitefish, MT and Rabbit Ears, CO.

AIARE Rec 1, 2 & Rescue; Rec 1 – 2 Course, Rec 2 – 1 Course; Colorado/Montana
