The Federal Bureau of Prisons (FBOP) anticipates issuance of a solicitation for the award of a firm-fixed-price purchase order resulting from a possible future solicitation for a project entitled FCI Phoenix - Replace UPS 24Z6AW4, located in Phoenix, Arizona.
The Bureau of Prisons has a future requirement for the supplies and equipment required to replace/upgrade the uninterruptible back-up systems (UPS) in the Control Rooms of Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) and Mesa Housing Unit at FCI Phoenix. The requirement consists of Contractor will completely remove the existing UPS systems in the Control Rooms of FCI & Mesa Housing Unit and install new UPS systems in accordance with all manufacturer’s requirements, local/state/federal codes and the FBOP Technical Design Guidelines (TDG). All equipment shall be installed by contractor personnel. The supplies and equipment will be delivered to the FCI located in Phoenix, Arizona.
FCI Phoenix is a federally owned facility located at 37900 N 45th Ave., Phoenix, AZ 85086. The contractor will provide all necessary equipment, labor, materials, and incidentals unless stated otherwise in the Statement of Work to replace/upgrade the uninterruptible back-up systems (UPS) in the Control Rooms of Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) and Mesa Housing Unit at FCI Phoenix. See the Statement of Work attachment included with the solicitation posting (to be issued at a later date as described herein) for the complete requirements of the work.
The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code applicable to this requirement is 335313 with a corresponding small business size standard of 1,250 number of employees. To be considered an interested vendor, you must possess this NAICS code in your www.sam.gov registration.
Interested offerors must be registered in www.sam.gov.
The FBOP is seeking small business contractors for this project. Your business size metrics information entered in your www.sam.gov registration must be less than or equal to the small business size standard specified above.
