The contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, and tools necessary to perform the repair work for the replacement of the existing backflow preventer assembly. The backflow preventer assembly has failed the St. Louis County annual testing and needs to be replaced. The existing backflow preventer is in a below ground level valve pit/vault and is located in the West Parade Field of Jefferson Barracks Air National Guard Station (JB ANGS). This is one of two (2) backflow prevention assembly systems for the domestic water service at JB ANGS. See attached Statement of Work for details.
An organized site visit has been scheduled for 20 February 2025 at 1:00 PM local. Interested contractors MUST register no later than 13 February 2025 at 5:00 PM local time in order to be cleared through Base Security. See Section L starting on page 35 for more information.
In accordance with FAR 36.211(b), the following information is provided:
(1) The National Guard has no agency-specific policies or procedures applicable to definitization of equitable adjustments for change orders under construction contracts other than those described at FAR 43.204, DFARS 243.204 and AFARS 5143.204.
(2) Data for the prior 3 fiscal years regarding the time required to definitize equitable adjustments for change orders under construction contracts for the National Guard is currently not available but will be compiled and provided in future announcements.
