AMENDMENT 01
HI,
The following Addendum is being issued for the subject Request for Quotation: 351889 LaserWire Stripper
Answers to Questions:
- We have another question: Are the copper wires inside the cable parallel to each other?
If they are parallel, we can find options based on the description. However, most commercial laser stripping machines will damage the internal copper wires if the three wires are not on the same horizontal line, and we will have to look for specific machines if existing.
ANSWER: The wires are not parallel to each other. The picture illustrates the configuration.
- Question: if you can point out a specific wire (PN) that this Laser Wire Stripper should be able to handle
Answer: SLAC cannot provide direction on supplier to use.
Please take note to submit questions no later than 2/11/2025.
This Addendum modifies the Request for Quotation and must be acknowledged. Failure to acknowledge all addenda could make your proposal non-responsive. Please confirm that the submitted proposal is not changed because of this addendum. If proposal sent is revised because of this, please submit the revised proposal.
The following changes are hereby made to the appropriate documents contained the above-mentioned Request for Quotation (RFQ). All other terms and conditions of the RFQ remain the same.
Thank you very much.
