The proposed contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, management, tools, materials, equipment, facilities, incidental engineering, and other items necessary to provide demolition of Fifty-seven (57) base housing structures, utilities, and pavement surfaces located at the Marine Corp Base Camp Lejeune (MCBCL), North Carolina (NC). The contractor shall provide transportation to and from the facilities locations. The proposed contractor shall be certified with the proper federal, state, and local Environmental Protection Agencies. It shall be the responsibility of the contractor to provide certification requirements to the Government at the pre-ward conference prior to the start of the work.
A brief description of the work is as follows, and details of the specifications to perform the requirement will be posted in the actual solicitation.
Performing Details Requires:
- Each base housing building, its detached garage, and pavement surfaces and/or area shall be a separate bid item as described in the project specification description once provided in the solicitation. The exact locations will be indicated by the Contracting Officer.
- The base housing buildings and associated structures will be demolished to grade and sodded back to green space. All grades will allow for positive drainage.
- Contractor is responsible for all utilities locates. Any damage to the existing utilities noted to remain shall be repaired at the contractor’s expense.
Special Conditions:
One Person my fill the role of Superintendent and Quality Control or Quality Control Manager and Safety Health Officer (SSHO) if duly qualified for the two (2) positions.
